Introduction
For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens 2Cor 5:1.
Beloved, has it ever occurred to you that these tents, our bodies, will not last forever? Do you realize that as each day passes by, our tents are getting weaker and weaker, and they will eventually collapse one day? If you know that, what preparations are you putting in place to ensure that you will not be in trouble the day your tent collapses?

“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” Heb 9:27.
"Beloved, the world is not a place of permanent abode; we will vacate this place sooner or later. We must be conscious of this fact and daily make ourselves ready for it."

Rev. Amos Oladele
There is a continuous battle between Satan and God over the eternal control of the soul of every man. The power that will win is determined by the man himself. God cannot claim eternal control over your life when you are not ready to willingly allow Him. Whoever you choose to serve here, whoever you choose to yield your heart and life to, is the one who will also dominate your soul in eternity. You cannot sleep on the lap of Delilah and dream of paradise, nor can you serve Satan on earth and assume you will be with God in eternity. Your eternal destination will be determined here by you.
What's coming next
“Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?” Rom 6:16.
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Rom 12:1-2.

Beloved, as you trust God continually for a better life, do not forget the best eternity; do not be so carried away with the matters of this life to the extent that your eternity is terribly compromised. Live your life with heaven in view; you do not have a permanent stay here.
Of course, the devil will want you to be careless; he will keep assuring you that you still have plenty of time. He will keep saying to you that you are still young. If you are fooled, if you take the matters of your eternity with levity, you will discover your folly on the other side; but by then it will have been too late.

“Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!” Deut 32:29.
Beloved, take a serious review of your stand in God today. Is your eternity secured? Are you sure that, should the unexpected happen today, you have a sure place with God?
The joy is that you are still alive reading this; that makes adjustment possible. Do not waste that opportunity.
“Examine yourselves as to whether you are in faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you? —unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified” 2Cor 13:5-6.
You and I will not end up as eternal casualties in Jesus’ name.
Our eternity will not be a place of permanent pains and eternal regrets in Jesus’ name.
Have a blissful day in God’s house.
God bless you!
